OfficeAutopilot’s award-winning software has continued to attract press, great reviews, and thousands of clients around the world. The company was self-funded and has since welcomed a small number of hand-picked ‘angel investors’ who act as advisers, mentors, and spokespeople for the company. OfficeAutopilot is profitable, growing over 100% a year, and currently (April 2011) employs 32 full-time team members in our Santa Barbara and Santa Monica, CA offices.

Secure
All client data is backed up hourly, daily, and weekly and is stored across arrays of hard drives and off-site tape backups. Payment information is stored in a separate bank of PCI compliant servers that are inaccessible by any single person inside or outside of the company. All data travels via secure 128-bit SSL encryption.

Reliable
From the start, OfficeAutopilot was designed with security and stability in mind. With banks of load-balanced and fully-redundant servers on both coasts of the US, your data is always available, always backed up, and always secure no matter where you are (or where you accidentally leave your laptop.) 

We’ve got dozens of tests like the ones below running all the time on all our servers (and waking up our system admins in the middle of the night if necessary!), but these are representative of each main part of our system.

Important note: these reports INCLUDE planned downtime for system maintenance. We include it because, hey, if we’ve shut you out because we need to run an update, you’re not able to work in your account.. so, as far as you’re concerned, we’re down. Still, it’s worth noting that UNplanned downtime is very, very rare for us these days. Also maintenance time is scheduled during the periods of lowest system usage across our client base.
